AEC Parcel is uniquely positioned to help those who need it most.
Given the tragic events in Ukraine, AEC Parcel is partnering with international nonprofits to identify supplies needed and utilize shipping logistics channels to get that aid there faster and cheaper.
AEC Parcel remains one of the few shipping companies that can still get shipments into Ukraine from the US and Canada. And we are proud to do our part in helping these people affected by war. AEC Parcel provides greatly reduced humanitarian aid shipping costs to Ukraine and other affected areas.

AEC Parcel is doing as much as possible during this difficult period. Please help us spread the message that Ukrainians and war refugees are in urgent need of everyone’s help and support.
If you are in any way affiliated with any media organization or would like us to be part of your efforts to spread awareness, please contact us at [email protected] directly and we will discuss how we can work together.
Humanitarian aid is of utmost importance to people faced with terrors of war, but it is not the only type of help we can offer. AEC Parcel Service is also providing military aid delivery. For more details, please contact us directly at +1 312-798-9955 or at [email protected].
Military aid includes any type of bulletproof vests or helmets, night vision or thermal devices/scope, and weapons. These types of goods cannot be sent as regular parcels or aid due to strict export and import regulations. However, any type of gloves, tactical vests (not bulletproof), kneepads, or other equipment listed under the specific humanitarian aid organization sections can be sent regularly.
If you wish to send humanitarian aid, please follow these steps.
1. Be sure to read over the provided information as it will most likely answer the questions you may have.
2. Determine how much aid you think you could collect or have already collected.
• See detailed pricing info under our FAQ’s section at the bottom of the page. Do note that we can possibly decrease the cost even further if you are shipping much bigger amounts. To confirm this, please contact us directly.
• Aid must be sent to one of the humanitarian aid organizations we have listed above. You can also send it to an organization of your choosing even if it is not listed. But then we won’t be able to apply the humanitarian aid pricing as we cannot monitor if it is truly aid that’s being shipped. Also, we can’t guarantee that we will be able to clear the shipment without any additional charges as there are additional processes we need to go through to make sure it is cleared without any VAT/duties. The prices for such shipments can be found in our shipping rates calculator.
• We kindly ask you to only send goods specified by the organization you have chosen from our list and follow the sorting and labelling requirements to alleviate work for people involved once the supplies arrive.
• After you have collected and packaged everything, you will need to drop off the shipment at one of our warehouses listed above or send it to our Chicago or Toronto warehouses. When dropping off the shipment, make sure to indicate which organization from our list above you would like it to be delivered to.
• See detailed pricing info under our FAQ’s section at the bottom of the page. Do note that we can possibly decrease the cost even further if you are shipping much bigger amounts. To confirm this, please contact us directly.
• We strongly encourage you to select one of the humanitarian aid organizations that we have already partnered with. But you may also choose your own organization and still receive the second-tier pricing. In this case, keep in mind that there might be delays and that there’s no guarantee that the aid can be cleared without additional charges, which you would need to cover, as your chosen organization may not be officially recognized. Then, we will need to go through additional procedures to make sure we can get verification from customs that they can clear your shipment duty-free.
• We kindly ask you to only send goods specified by the organization you have chosen, whether you’ve found it from our list or on your own. Be sure to follow the sorting and labelling requirements to alleviate work for organizations once the aid reaches them.
• Drop off your aid shipment at one of our warehouses below or send it to our Chicago warehouse. We can also work our a pick-up from your location or even load the aid directly from your location depending on the amount you have and where you are located. Please indicate this when filling out the Humanitarian Aid Shipment Form.
• After we receive the information, we will contact you with details on how to move the aid in the fastest way possible along with additional options depending on how much aid you have and where you are located.
3. After this, the aid will be sent out to Europe and will first reach our customs and distribution hub outside of Warsaw, Poland. The aid that is destinated for Poland or other EU countries will be delivered from here. The aid that is destined for Ukraine will be sent via truck to Lviv where we have our customs and distribution hub and from there will be delivered to the organization you selected or will be picked up by the people involved directly from this warehouse.
4. Since we are closely working with organizations that receive the aid, they will keep us updated on every step of the process. We will make sure to share these updates through our social media channels so that you can observe that your aid has reached the people that need it most and to spread awareness at the same time. Please encourage others to help out as well!
Currently, we are unable to offer shipping of humanitarian aid to Ukraine or affected areas free of charge, but are working with large organizations and will soon have a possibility to cover some or even all of the shipping costs through their generous donations! Nonetheless, to do our part, we do ship the aid at rates that are as low as possible in order to still sustain our operations and continue to provide a direct link to the people that need help.
Below you can find the general pricing information that should answer your questions regarding how much it could cost to get the aid to where it is needed:

• Minimum chargeable weight for every package for SEA for both UA and PL aid organizations is 30 lbs.
• Max allowed weight for a package for both AIR and SEA shipments for UA and PL is 66 lbs. Any package over 66 lbs. will be charged an additional $1/lbs. Overweight packages are also more likely to get damaged during transit and might be delayed due to being harder to handle. This rule does not apply for larger shipments that are on pallets.
• Dimensional weight: If a package is very large but does not weigh a lot it may be charged by its dimensional weight. This occurs when the dimensional weight of a package is greater than its actual weight. The dimensional weight calculation when shipping by AIR is LxWxH/166 and for SEA it is LxWxH/300.
All listed humanitarian or military aid is needed. Please refer to the lists of goods specified by the humanitarian aid organization you choose and follow the sorting and labeling instructions provided to make their job easier to distribute. We have vetted and established official partnerships with each of these organizations in order to get the aid where it is needed without you having to pay any additional taxes or duties in Europe or Ukraine.
Please note: clothes are one of the least important types of aid. Shipping any alcohol is strictly prohibited. We encourage you to focus on the supplies that are listed.
Please also note that bulletproof vests or helmets, night vision or thermal goggles or scopes, ammunition, explosives, or weapons have very strict export and import controls. For these types of goods please contact us at +1-312-798-9955 or at [email protected].
We provide two shipping options that will determine how quickly the aid can arrive to Europe or Ukraine. The air option ensures quick delivery, but is more expensive even with us applying the price as low as we can in order to still sustain operations. The sea option is much cheaper, but it will take a lot longer for the aid to be delivered. Keep in mind that it might take longer for shipments to Ukraine to arrive in case the situation in Ukraine worsens. We can assure you that as long as the Western Regions of Ukraine are not in direct conflict, we will be able operate normally. Other Important Information:
• Aid is shipped from all locations several times a week for both air and sea options.
• If you are shipping over 1,000 lbs. and want to send to an aid organization not from the list above, keep in mind that the transit times might be longer due to us having to go through additional customs formalities in order to clear the aid without additional charges.
Depending on whether you are shipping the aid in packages or on pallets, it is important to make sure everything is packaged properly so that it reaches the final destination safely and to alleviate additional work for the aid organization receiving the supplies.
• If the aid is being sent in packages, make sure to use heavy-duty boxes and not to exceed 60 lbs. which would make them difficult to handle and could cause damage to the supplies inside the box.
• If the aid is being sent on pallets, make sure that everything is tightly packed and secured with film wrap so that the pallet does not break apart during transit.
• In either case, when preparing the shipment, make sure to follow the rules on sorting goods in the same package and labeling the parcels provided by the aid organization you are shipping to. This alleviates a lot of work for people involved and ensures that the aid gets distributed to the people that need it quickly and efficiently. More detailed instructions on labeling and sorting are provided under specific aid organization sections above.
If you are shipping under 1,000 lbs., you will need to choose from one of the aid organizations listed above that we know we can deliver to.
